Ultra Magnus Opens Ceremonies Celebrating The Union's 60th Anniversary
Madison Square Garden. Ultra Magnus greeted a gathering of Union members, international dignitaries, and entertainment stars on Friday Night as The Union kicked off a week of celebrations on the eve of their 60th anniversary. Magnus walked the audience through 60 years of history, adventures, and remembrances of fallen members using a new immersive 3D slideshow and reenactment projector developed in partnership with Slinger Toys.
Following the creation of The Liberty League, the establishment of the first Pyramid right here in New York, and a sweeping trip through all the highlights, the presentation lasted just over one hour.
Alex Nova, Frida Freedom, and Jim Jaguar, the surviving members of The Liberty League and still very much active in The Union administration were on hand to receive lifetime achievement awards and unveil the five new statues of the original Liberty League. 5/6th scale copies of these figures will be added to the statue gardens of all Union pyramids. Frida Freedom, visibly teary at the sight of her and her friends in their prime captured in bronze, thanked the audience and promised that the next 60 years would see The Union growing even more vibrant and important.
Fesitivities ran late into the night with both Slinger Toys and Atom Comics throwing lavish parties for guests and glitterati at the finest hotels in the city. The party, meant to coincide with the release of a new line of action figure playsets and collectibles, comics, and a renewed TV contract synergizes The Union's efforts to leading the Super Human industry.
